I am not a big fan of Black Friday.  I don’t like crowds and shopping as a sport isn’t really my thing.  Plus, getting up early for fun makes no sense to me. Why would I want to waste a day off by getting out of bed one minute early than my bladder demands?

The only Black Friday sales I go to are at the local game shop (which doesn’t open until 10 a.m.), and a nursery, which runs their sale all weekend and last year was crushed by the presence of almost 7 customers at once (I’m not sure how you count bored children – do they count as not-quite-a-customer, or many-times-a-customer, based on how loudly they are bored?).

But shopping online for Black Friday deals is more sneaky.  It feels like a treasure hunt instead of a full-contact sport, and I fall for it every time. And I have learned that Black Friday is the best time of year to shop for, shall we say, personal gifts?  And by “personal gifts,” naturally I mean sex toys.

I habitually make myself a wishlist of things that I plan to shop for during the fantastic Black Friday sales from online retailers.


This year’s Black Friday deals?

SheVibe has a progressive sale, where you save more if you spend more, so it is best if you are buying something pricey or putting together a generous, x-rated gift basket for yourself or a friend.   Shipping is free and the selection is, as always, fantastic.

If you have been thinking about getting the Liberator Wedge/Ramp Combo,  now is the time to grab it and save yourself $40. And really, don’t you need a tie-dyed dildo to make your holidays complete? (It is totally worth the money, if you have it.)

Personally, I’m looking at the We-Vibe Touch, which I am told has most of the power of the fantastic Tango, but doesn’t get quite as slippery when wet.




Good Vibrations is starting with 20% off sitewide, with a few exclusions.  I find myself staring at these beautiful Spectral Glass Dildos.  They are so pretty that they could be Christmas decorations.  If I didn’t have kids.  And if my parents never came to visit.


Tantus is also keeping it simple with 40% off (almost) everything.  I’m looking at their dual-density line, but that’s mostly because I want to feel how heavy the Rumble is before I bring one home.  I am lazy and my wrists get tired.  But their Grab Bags are a great place to find a bargain.




Peepshow Toys is another progressive sale, and the people there are making a big effort to make sure that everything that they sell is body-safe.  If you don’t feel like doing your own research, and want something they don’t sell at Tantus, be sure to check them out.
